The Letgo Studio
Amanda from Creatively Curious [https://www.creativelycurious.co.uk/blogs/be-creatively-curious/why-creatively-curious] and Emily Rose from Letgo Studio bring you a light hearted conversation about the Art of Mandala Drawing and Minfulness. Referencing their upcoming workshop Mindful Mandala Faces [https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/draw-mindful-mandala-faces-tickets-104055591074] - no experience is necessary just the desire to create and to soak in the meditative benefits that creativity can bring. Amanda has been making Mandalas for over 10 years, and as part of her journey Creatively Curious was born. A mandala, which is Sanskrit for “circle” or “discoid object,” is a geometric design that holds a great deal of symbolism in Hindu and Buddhist cultures. In their most basic form, mandalas are circles contained within a square and arranged into sections that are all organized around a single, central point. Drawing a mandala a day has incredible therapeutic benefits and mindful qualities, Amanda talks about how they have helped her and how we can introduce this to our daily practice for our wellbeing too. The Letgo Studio [https://www.facebook.com/theletgostudio/]hosts Letgo Life Drawing [https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/mindful-life-drawing-online-sessions-tickets-87192875237] in its home-town Brighton and events beyond where Amanda and Emily met. Mindful Mandala Faces brings you a combination of the two - life drawing and mandalas. Sharing an interest for mindfulness and creativity Amanda and Emily talk in this podcast about how they will guide you through these Mindful Mandala workshops with meditation, intentions and mandalas with a twist! All you need is yourself a pen or pencil and something to draw on, for the final phase a photo - you can take a photo of yourself or a loved one you would like to set your mandala intention to and enjoy the mindful presence creativity can bring.
