The Recovery Room
This week I take you on a drive as I reflect on my journey with neurodivergence, trauma, masking and being a high functioning girl and woman within the context of my experience of sex abuse and how it shaped my experiences in my day to day. I also share 2 accommodations since discovering the added layer of AuDHD and learning to release myself of the guilt of not doing things the neurotypical way. These accommodations have helped me in my daily operations as a mum and have supported me in being better prepared in my social interactions without having a complete meltdown afterwards. This episode is both reflective and practical and my intention is for you to recognise yourself in this and feeling less alone and having something practical to implement in your life, doing it your way. Below I have useful links related to the topic explored in this episode and underneath that you can find how to connect with me and dive deeper into my work.
