For the past 10 years, she and her husband have been raising their three boys overseas — including their oldest, who is autistic. We talk about the reality of missionary life beyond the highlight reel, parenting a child with autism in another culture, caring for your body as a form of stewardship, and walking through the deep grief of losing her mom while living far from home. Together, we reflect on Psalm 42:7 — “Deep calls to deep” — and what it means to encounter God in the deep waters of motherhood, ministry, and loss.
