It has brought up the question - how do you differentiate between the voice of your own intuition from the thousand other voices competing for your attention? Michael Singer suggests — you are not the voice of the mind, you are the one who hears it. Intuition, we think, is learning to recognize that one true voice beneath the noise of fear, conditioning and conventional wisdom. But there is much more to this. Once you can hear that voice clearly, you are no longer being asked only to follow it — you are being asked to become it. To Be it. What is intuition, really — and how is it different from a feeling, a fear, or a wish? Can intuition be trained, or is it something we simply uncover. And what does it mean to stop being the sheep and become the Shepherd? All of this and more in the next hour.

Our Work in Real Time

Many listeners have asked for examples of what we mean by the mirror, the projection, our limiting beliefs, our conditioning and our programming. And all of this came alive for us last night. As we were preparing our podcast, life hit us with a real and personal example of much of the work we talk about on this show.  So, we thought this would make a fantastic discussion for our listeners and we have turned  the conversation into a combination of a live coaching session and teaching . The Paradox of the Second Marriage

On this episode, Jacqueline and I are going to explore what we call the paradox of second marriages. This is both of our second marriages and lost in our own joyful experience we were deeply surprised to learn that the divorce rate for second marriages is 20% higher than first marriages. Now that probably shouldn’t have surprised us given that a second marriage is two people that both catastrophically failed in the first, but it did! Now the paradox is that overall level of happiness in a second marriage is higher than a first marriage so there seems to be a huge gift for those who figure it out. Why is there this paradox. What is behind it? Why do 70% of second marriages fail?  Why do 30% find this new gear of happiness?  All of this and much more in the next ho ur.

Can You Sit With It?

On this episode, Jacqueline and I are going to explore the action of “Just sitting with, or being with, your feelings”. This idea of just being with your feelings or fully feeling your feelings is something many of us have heard from therapists, coaches or spiritual mentors. “Just sitting with” is a concept that is also preached by all the sages over the ages. What does “just sitting with your feelings even mean”? How is this not just avoidance? Why is this paradoxically considered an act of courage in spiritual teachings? What is the benefit and what are the costs of sitting with our feelings? All of this and much more in the next hour.

The Cost of Unforgiveness

Chris and Jacqueline explore the spiritual implications of forgiveness in this episode.Buddhist Proverb: A senior monk and a junior monk were traveling together. At one point, they came to a river with a strong current. As the monks were preparing to cross the river, they saw a very young and beautiful woman also attempting to cross. The young woman asked if they could help her cross to the other side.The two monks glanced at one another because they had taken vows not to touch a woman.Then, without a word, the older monk picked up the woman, carried her across the river, placed her gently on the other side, and carried on his journey.The younger monk couldn’t believe what had just happened. After rejoining his companion, he was speechless, and an hour passed without a word between them. Two more hours passed, then three, finally the younger monk could contain himself any longer, and blurted out “As monks, we are not permitted a woman, how could you then carry that woman on your shoulders?”The older monk looked at him and replied, “Brother, I set her down on the other side of the river, why are you still carrying her?”
