Between the Christmas traditions, the supportive families, the adorable kids, and the sweet romance, it’s easy to see why this film became such a meaningful milestone for Hallmark. In this week’s TV Tuesday episode, I’m discussing All Creatures Great and Small Season 1 Episode 7, “The Night Before Christmas.” As Christmas arrives in Darrowby, James is called away on an emergency house call with Helen just before her wedding to Hugh. Meanwhile, Tristan anxiously awaits his exam results, Mrs. Hall hopes for a Christmas reunion with her son Edward, and Siegfried finds himself navigating matters of the heart. This emotional season finale delivers romance, heartbreak, family drama, and one of the coziest Christmas episodes of the entire season. We also see Helen and Hugh take a major step forward in their relationship, leaving James heartbroken.
