Hey Dad can we tell a lie?

Hey, Dad, one of the things that came to us as we were studying Abraham was, is it ok to tell a lie? There are, of course, multiple Bible verses that tell us not to lie. In fact, some plainly state how much God dislikes it. This is where we wonder why Abraham lied about his wife, or even Rahab, who we will meet later, lies, and they actually receive favor because of that. So this week, we are finding out if we can lie and under what circumstances it is ok. We would love to hear your perspective as well and have a healthy conversation together.
