Justice Ain't Cheap episode 10 brings a necessary conversation with trans philanthropic and movement leaders Andy Marra, Chief Executive Officer of Advocates for Trans Equality (A4TE), and Shelby Chestnut, Executive Director of Transgender Law Center, hosted by Funders for LGBTQ Issues’ President Saida Agostini-Bostic. Aldita is a philanthropic consultant, resource mobilizer, and founding director of the Action for Transformation Fund. She is an experienced grantmaker and donor organizer and serves on the Boards of Directors of Funders for LGBTQ Issues and the Women's Foundation of California. In this episode, Aldita reflects on her experience as a queer immigrant, how she got involved in this work and the world of philanthropy, and what she has learned.
