TW: Talks of SA + emotional abuse. Real, raw + unedited. As the first episode for Make Me Proud Podcast, I wanted to be completely real with you guys + set the tone for episodes to come. I am an upbeat person, constantly making jokes, and I will return to that in future episodes....but I felt it was vital to show this other very real side of me. I didn't wake up one day to success at my bedside, it was f*cking hard. It still is. This podcast is a journey for not only me, but for us to find our own paths + journeys. In much of my journey so far I felt so alone, and I don't want people to feel that feeling anymore. I am not a perfect human, and I will never claim to be. But... one day..
