episode Entrusted | Robby Williams cover

Entrusted | Robby Williams

The gospel of Jesus Christ represents the ultimate gift that's meant to be shared, not hoarded. When believers receive salvation, they're not just getting eternal security; they're being entrusted with the most life-changing message in human history. This message carries with it both incredible privilege and serious responsibility. Paul understood this deeply when he wrote to Timothy from prison, emphasizing that the gospel must continue beyond any single generation. His instruction in 2 Timothy 2:2 creates a multiplication model: Paul to Timothy, Timothy to faithful people, and those faithful people to others. This represents four generations of gospel impact through one person's intentional investment. The apostle uses three powerful illustrations to show what this investment looks like - the focused soldier, the disciplined athlete, and the patient farmer. Each requires sacrifice, endurance, and long-term thinking because investing in people is often slow and messy. The urgency of this mission cannot be overstated. Every person has an expiration date, and there may be someone in your life who, if you don't invest in them spiritually, no one else will. This isn't about having perfect qualifications or special gifts - it's about being faithful with what you've been given. Before we can pour into others, we must be strengthened by grace ourselves, ensuring our investment flows from a healthy relationship with Jesus rather than mere performance. Our mission is to multiply God’s Kingdom through being and making disciples everywhere. Be. Make. Multiply. multiplypeople.com

episode The Love Of Jesus Was Never Meant To Stop With Us | Robby Williams cover

The Love Of Jesus Was Never Meant To Stop With Us | Robby Williams

The journey of faith includes a crucial transition from personal spiritual growth to actively investing in the lives of others. This shift represents a fundamental principle: while healthy things grow, mature things invest. The love of Jesus was never intended to stop with us but to flow through us to impact future generations. Paul's relationship with the Thessalonians provides a powerful model for spiritual investment. In 1 Thessalonians 2:7-12, he compares discipleship to parenting, describing how he cared for them like a nursing mother and encouraged them like a father. This imagery reveals that spiritual investment requires far more than information transfer - it demands affection, sacrifice, genuine presence, and the willingness to share your life alongside the gospel. Three key characteristics define investing love: it must be personal, requiring authentic relationship and vulnerability; it demands sacrifice of time, energy, and convenience; and it points people toward Jesus rather than creating unhealthy dependence. Like parenting, discipleship is harder than expected, must be relational to be transformational, takes time to see results, and ultimately aims to equip people to leave and reproduce spiritually. The goal is not to create permanent followers but to develop mature believers who will invest in others, continuing the generational impact of faith that we see in Timothy's family line. Our mission is to multiply God’s Kingdom through being and making disciples everywhere. Be. Make. Multiply. multiplypeople.com

episode What Keeps Us From Loving God? | Robby Williams cover

What Keeps Us From Loving God? | Robby Williams

In the midst of life's tragedies and spiritual battles, we face a real enemy whose purpose remains unchanged: to steal, kill, and destroy through deception and isolation. Satan doesn't attack us personally but hates God and seeks to confuse us about truth while isolating us from community that can remind us of God's love and plans for our lives. The primary reason believers stop growing spiritually isn't lack of care for God, but rather filling their hearts with other loves that diminish their hunger for Him. 1 John 2:15-17 identifies three core temptations that have existed since Eden: the lust of the flesh (seeking pleasure and immediate gratification), the lust of the eyes (desiring material possessions and security), and the pride of life (wanting status and position, ultimately desiring to be our own god). These same temptations that deceived Eve continue today, as Satan uses identical strategies to pull our hearts away from God. Jesus demonstrated the path to victory when He faced these same three temptations in the wilderness. Having spent time with His Father, He responded to each temptation with Scripture and maintained His dependence on God. Our spiritual growth depends on two critical factors: our posture of dependence toward God and our appetite for what we choose to feed on daily. When we're spiritually full of worldly things, we approach God's Word without hunger or desperation. The solution requires honest examination of what has filled our hearts and intentional steps to feed our appetite for God rather than the temporary things of this world. Our mission is to multiply God’s Kingdom through being and making disciples everywhere. Be. Make. Multiply. multiplypeople.com

episode Abiding > Striving | Robby Williams cover

Abiding > Striving | Robby Williams

Spiritual growth is one of the most misunderstood aspects of the Christian life. Many believers experience genuine salvation but then find themselves spiritually stagnant, never progressing beyond their initial decision to follow Christ. This isn't what God intended—He calls us to grow in grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, not just to remain static in our faith. The problem often lies in our approach to growth. We tend to think spiritual maturity comes through trying harder, learning more Bible facts, or checking off spiritual activities. However, true growth is about transformation, not information. It's about knowing Jesus more personally and becoming more like Him through a process called sanctification. This happens not through our own strength and effort, but through abiding—staying connected to Christ as a branch remains connected to a vine. We must also recognize that we're in a spiritual battle. Satan cannot prevent believers from going to heaven, but he works tirelessly to stall our growth through distractions, discouragement, and deception. The key to overcoming these obstacles is understanding that growth happens the same way salvation does—by grace through faith, not by works. When we abide in Christ through consistent time in His Word, prayer, fellowship with believers, and dependence on His strength, we naturally bear fruit and become more like Him. Growing disciples are marked by their time with Jesus, visible transformation, gospel clarity, consistent spiritual rhythms, and genuine concern for others' spiritual condition. episode Follow Me | Robby Williams cover

Follow Me | Robby Williams

The encounter between Jesus and the rich young ruler in Mark 10 provides a powerful lesson about the true nature of salvation and discipleship. This wealthy man had everything the world values, yet he felt something was missing. He ran to Jesus, fell on his knees, and desperately asked the most important question anyone can ask: what must I do to inherit eternal life? Jesus immediately recognized that the man didn't understand who He really was. When the ruler called Him a good teacher, Jesus challenged him to consider His true identity. The man believed he was righteous because he had kept the commandments since childhood, representing the self-righteous mindset that many people have today. However, Jesus knew his heart and identified the one thing he lacked: true surrender. When Jesus asked him to sell everything and follow Him, the man's face fell, and he walked away sad, choosing his wealth over eternal life. This story reveals crucial truths about salvation. Everyone has sinned and falls short of God's glory, regardless of how good they think they are. Sin has serious consequences that required Jesus to die on the cross. Salvation cannot be earned through good works, church attendance, or moral behavior - it comes by grace through faith alone. The rich young ruler walked away when confronted with the cost of following Jesus, but others like the Philippian jailer responded with immediate faith and joy. The choice remains the same today: will we trust in our own righteousness or surrender our lives completely to Jesus Christ as both Savior and Lord? Our mission is to multiply God’s Kingdom through being and making disciples everywhere. Be. Make.
