I met with a mate some years back who felt he was on the verge of a breakdown. Successful business, a wonderful home, young family it all seemed great. Beneath it all though over a coffee he told me the real state of affairs. The success of his business was coming at a cost of everything. Major problems in the relationship with resentment, anger and frustrations. Feelings of sadness and guilt when he was with his kids because he wasn’t present, thinking about work. He had stopped training and was making poor nutrition choices if he ate at all. Sleeping on the couch many nights a week he felt lost and like he was trapped. Can you relate to this?
