This podcast is inspired from the book also entitled, Deserving Mercy. This book tells the story of a young black male college student who gets wrongfully accused of a selling Illegal drugs that did not belong to him. He was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and faced with a felony that began to suddenly impact his life totally. With the lack of mental health awareness, it takes longer for this young man to not only face the fact of his reality, but also the courage to attempt to make a difference in his circumstances.
