beyond the game: meet event manager fatima walsh

Fatima Walsh is a Sports Event Manager at Venues Live. But her journey into the sports industry started by serving beers and pies in the food kiosk at Wembley Stadium. From working with the England National Football Team at FIFA World Cups, to bringing game day to life every week for the Central Coast Mariners in the A-League, Fatima opens up on how getting thrown in the deep end helped her become an Event Manager who can adapt to any challenge that comes her way on game day. Kris Dun is the National Performance Psychology Lead at the Australian Institute of Sport. But it was a bold move to Scotland back in 2010 that kick-started her career, helping her gain invaluable psychology experience at the Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games. From supporting athletes at four different Commonwealth Games, to working with both Team Australia and Team Scotland at the Olympic Games, Kris shares loads of advice for those looking at a career in sports psychology.
