Dexter adds, scaling up doesn’t always mean more money, but it does mean more time to do other things. He explains knowing what kind of money you want to bring in weekly and the hours you are willing to work allows you to find the work that matches. Henry advises when working with freight brokers to come to an agreement with a factoring company that is able to pay you more quickly and track the time it takes for the freight brokers to pay. Before getting into the trucking business do your research to know what you are getting into in advance. This monthly service helps protect against those who may cause accidents just to get paid. Being overly hungry about his hustle, Brandon has made plenty of mistakes. From his logs not being right to not passing an inspection, the hefty fines and limited access to loans are not worth it. Make sure to dot your I’s and cross your T’s because it will help you in the long run. Brandon also discusses proper load planning and allocating the correct trucks pending load and age of the truck.
