We first met at the Art of Hosting practice in Karlskrona where we together, for 4 days, explored the question of “How can practicing the art of hosting support us in creating thriving futures for all?” Our conversation delves into the Art of Hosting and Harvesting Conversations that Matter, a practice that Mansi sees as fundamental to being human. She illuminated the often invisible work that goes into hosting, highlighting the meticulous preparation required to foster self-organization and the subtle balance of calmness and activity that defines effective hosting. Mansi also recounts her journey, marked by a rebellion against societal norms in India, her experiences with global organizations like the United Nations, and her eventual disillusionment with existing power structures. This path led her through a period of darkness, ultimately guiding her toward a deeper engagement with environmentalism, the principles of conscious business, and the art of hosting. Her story emphasizes the importance of conscious leadership, the integration of masculine and feminine energies in business, and the power of inclusivity.
