Fat Joe, Lean Back So I Can Get My Championship Hat

Lots of absurdity this week, so let’s get into it. Syd found herself on the receiving end of some brutally honest (and hilarious) criticism from her youngest family members and TP had a front-row seat. Then there’s the Knicks. After 53 years without a championship, it turns out building a winning team just takes a little brainpower, entertaining players like Josh Hart, and diehard fans like Spike Lee. Timothée Chalamet, meanwhile, hasn’t been alive long enough to earn that championship hat (or those free tickets) when people were literally spending their life savings to get in. For even more absurdity, we head to Washington, where Agent Orange had the gayest of birthdays. What’s even wilder is how many people side with billion & trillionaires when they’re much closer to the poorest Americans than the ultra-wealthy. And finally: *Maternal Instinct*. WNBA Bench Players Get Punished Twice

Chip and Yams went to see an animal psychic, and apparently Chip had a lot to get off his chest in his old age. Naturally, Syd made things weird almost immediately. In Pride Headlines, we're celebrating some of the LGBTQ+ hoopers making noise, including Jessica Shepard and Emily Engstler leading the charge. In a non-pride moment, we also give a well-deserved shoutout to Megan Gustafson for putting in the work and finally getting her moment. We see you, girl. It took a lot of very triggering 15-minute cardio sessions, but you got there. Plus, we're introducing a brand-new segment: Halftime Headlines. This week, Serena is making a return, Orange is the new brown, America is turning 250, and Trump continues to stay in character by somehow making it all about himself… announcing headliners who apparently never agreed to perform in the first place. Unconsensual, per usual. We also take a trip down our own Wikipedia pages thanks to Anonymous Ashley bringing this to our attention. The lesson?
