Dr Hess has been part of the Westgate Family Physicians since 1998. He is board certified in family medicine. Prior to entering private practice, he spent 10 years in the U.S. Army. Dr Hess was raised in a Christian family and became a Christian at a young age. He loves family medicine because it allows him to know his patients and be part of their lives. Dr Hess and his wife have 5 children. When he is not here he enjoys hunting, riding his motorcycle, being outdoors, spending time with family and serving at his church. #9 David Cykert, MD Part 2

Dr. Cykert received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. He completed his residency from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in internal medicine. Dr. Cykert is board certified in internal medicine. After completing his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr Cykert played as a guitarist in a rock band. After touring the east coast for over twelve years, he entered medical school at the age of 33. Dr Cykert now resides in Spartanburg, SC with his wife and their son.
