Mackenzie Shirilla | New Netflix Doc ‘The Crash’ Reignites Debate

On July 31, 2022, Dominic Russo and Davion Flanagan were killed in Strongsville, Ohio, when Mackenzie Shirilla intentionally drove her car into a brick wall at over 100 mph. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene. Judge Nancy Margaret Russo found Shirilla guilty of 12 felony counts and sentenced her to two concurrent life sentences with the possibility of parole after 15 years. Athena Strand's Killer Sentenced to Death

Tanner Horner, the FedEx driver who murdered seven-year-old Athena Strand in 2022, pleaded guilty to capital murder and was sentenced to death on May 5.
