Turnaround: Salt, Light, and a Legacy

To watch the video version of this message, visit crosspointbangor.com You can also find us on all audio platforms at Crosspoint Bangor Messages In this opening message of Turnaround: A Call to a Nation Adrift, Adam looks at Jesus’ words in Matthew 5 and reminds us that real change in a nation begins with the people of God. More than political reform or moral improvement, what our communities truly need is a spiritual turnaround. Using the images of salt and light, this sermon calls believers to live distinct, visible, and faithful lives in a culture that is drifting. When Christians lose their saltiness by blending in, or hide their light by going undercover, the world misses the witness it desperately needs. This message challenges us to begin not by pointing fingers at others, but by asking what God wants to change in us through confession, repentance, and prayer.

Family Sunday: Don’t Miss the Moment

To watch the video version of this message, visit crosspointbangor.com You can also find us on all audio platforms at Crosspoint Bangor Messages In this Family Sunday message, Pastor Jerry looks at the life of Nicodemus and challenges us not to miss the opportunities God places in front of us. From John 3 to John 19, Nicodemus stands as a reminder that fear, hesitation, and concern over what others think can keep us from fully following Jesus and taking part in what God is doing. With Vacation Bible School just ahead, this message calls the church to open its eyes to the needs around us and to be intentional about building God’s kingdom. Whether through serving, encouraging, giving, or simply paying attention to the moments God provides, every believer has a part to play. What we do for Christ matters, and the opportunities before us today may echo into eternity.

God's House God's Rules: Choose Contentment

To watch the video version of this message, visit crosspointbangor.com You can also find us on all audio platforms at Crosspoint Bangor Messages In this final message of God’s House, God’s Rules, Adam teaches on the tenth commandment and the danger of coveting. More than simply wanting something, coveting is the restless desire for what belongs to someone else, whether that is their house, marriage, career, success, health, or lifestyle. Looking at Exodus 20, James 4, and Philippians 4, this sermon shows how coveting begins in the heart and often grows out of envy, entitlement, and discontentment. It exposes the deeper struggle behind so many other sins and reveals how easily we can become frustrated not just with others, but with God Himself. This message calls us to stop measuring our lives against everyone around us and to find true contentment in Christ. In a world that constantly tells us to keep up with the Joneses, Jesus remains the only lasting source of strength, satisfaction, and peace.

God's House, God's Rules: Can You Trust God to Provide?

To watch the video version of this message, visit crosspointbangor.com You can also find us on all audio platforms at Crosspoint Bangor Messages In this message, Pastor Colby teaches on the eighth commandment, “You shall not steal,” and shows that theft is about more than taking what does not belong to you. At its core, stealing reveals a heart that values self over others and struggles to trust God as provider. Looking at the laws in Exodus and Jesus’ words in John 10, this sermon contrasts the heart of the thief, who takes and destroys, with the heart of Christ, who gives life and lays Himself down for His sheep. As we continue through the Ten Commandments, this message calls us to live with honesty, generosity, and a deeper trust that God will provide what we need.
