11. I Ain’t Have No Daddy Around When I Was Growing Up, That’s Why I’m Wild and IDGAF!!!

Daddy issues…. We all got ‘em. Rather the Nigga yo momma told you was yo daddy ain’t claimed you since conception or your daddy’s little princess. The relationships with the men that created us hold more weight than we think or like to believe. How can the person who’s DNA is encoded in you not effect you? We love our dads and forgive them for the mistakes they made when they were young or old. Growing up shows you that it’s not one straight path leading to success. Those mistakes they made molded us too. Unfortunately, it probably made you a little rough around the edges, a little angry, you’ve probably even had a bought with depression. We’ve all been there this is deep stuff guys but we’re all friends here and this is a safe space. Let’s talk about it.

10. Minding My Black Owned Business

We made it to episode TEN!!! We celebrate big and small milestones over here my baby! It feels good to have had an idea and brought it into fruition. Entrepreneurship is hard especially when you’re business ain’t making no money but everybody else’s is… IG will get your creative juices flowing but it can also steal your joy and send you into a depression that can ultimately change the whole trajectory of your life. So, we beg to ask the question… would you rather build your own business or be the CEO of one the few companies that actually run the world, like Apple or Amazon? I would love to live a day in your rose colored glasses. Its harrrrdd loving a black man but even harder loving the ones that hate us. The ones that blatantly show their hate to the public on platforms like twitter or in the songs that we pay our money to stream regularly or the undercover haters that do everything in their power to break us under the guise of love. It’s not easy being a black woman and it’s no secret but it’s hard when our blackkkkk brothers strongggg brothers that we down for no matter what tear us down while putting the queens of the caucus mountains on a pedestal. The same Queen your great-great-great granddaddy couldn’t look in the direction of without being lynched! So, I will forever recite the precious mantra that raised us…Step back white boy, you don’t shine. I’ll get the colored boy to beat yo behind.… and as hard as it is we need to agree that the men/women that have told us in more ways than one “Negro please. Didn't any one tell you that this was an all white party? Somebody, get this jiggaboo away from me” need to stand on what they say. Like do you hate your mom? And yes we all have daddy issues but I can’t take that out on everybody. I know there is black King ready to worship you and understand your plight while being present and raising the black heirs to the empire you two build together.
