Episode 28: Congo x Taco Bell

This week we fell through a time rift! Oh noooooooooo! And emerged in...1995. The space shuttle Discovery has just taken off, Michael Jordan has returned to the NBA, and the film Congo is making the world go ape!  The only way to escape back to our own time is to watch Congo and compare it to the Volcano Burrito from Taco Bell. Episode 27: Subway x Happy Gilmore 2

This episode is what I call "a hole in one”! Remember when they did that joke with the Subway commercial in the first Happy Gilmore? Remember when Happy Gilmore put the sandwich on the golf tee and hit it into the guy’s mouth and then said “That’s what I call a hole in one”? Remember that? Well now let’s insert a clip of that very thing happening just in case you remembered it a bit insufficiently.  What was all that incomprehensible rambling? Well, that’s our attempt at recreating a Happy Gilmore 2 joke! The only film that dares to repeatedly ask its audience, “Do you remember that thing? And if not (or if so) here’s a clip to jog your memory just in case.”  Speaking of jogging your memory, do you remember when Subway sandwich bread used to have the yoga mat stuff in it? I don’t because I ate too much of the Subway sandwich yoga mat bread. Which will win?! The place with the 5 dollar foot longs (wait, they don’t have those anymore?) or the golfer with the alive wife (wait, he doesn’t have that anymore?)? We do other things sometimes!
