Michele Powell - Vice President for Programming and Development - Haslam Sports Group

Prior to joining the Haslam Sports Group in April 2021, Michele was the Sr. VP & General Manager of Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. working with the Capitals, Georgetown University, Mystics, Wizards and all other arena events. She also spent time with Feld Entertainment and the Washington Wizards, prior to the creation of Monumental Sports & Entertainment. Michele was also a four-year letter-winner in Track and Field at the University of Oregon, where she earned her degree in Sports Marketing.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, Master’s degree from the University of Central Florida, and has begin her Ph.D. at FSU.
