I originally started this as a way to talk about funny or difficult things with my army buddies but I'm not good at keeping up with shit and so it's just going to be whatever it is. My husband and I talk Army over a few drinks

My husband and I met in the Army. I've been out for about 15 years now, but he's still on active duty. In this episode, we talk about the challenges we faced during deployments (that most civilians are probably unaware of) in the early days of OIF, lessons the regular Army could learn from USASOC, and the impetus for changes to AR 670-1. I think these discussions could best be summed up as where theory meets reality. I apologize for the abrupt ending. There was another segment that was lost as a result of technical difficulties (read: operator error). As two commo soldiers, you would think we would know better. I'm sure my husband and I will have additional alcohol-fueled discussions about the Army, so stay tuned!
