Who Do You Say I Am?

Do we consider Peter a villain in the Easter Story? Are you a villain in the Easter Story? This Sunday we reflect on three scenes from the life of Peter - even the greatest of saints has the potential to fall at any moment, and even greater, we’ll see the amazing love, care, and tenderness that Jesus offers to each one of us who returns to him. Who do you say I am?

Lord, I Want to See

What kind of vision do you have? Are you near-sighted, far-sighted? Do you have cataracts? Or, are you one of those people with perfect vision? On Good Friday, we look at the story of a man convinced he can see, but cannot see Jesus, or himself.

A Bad Trade

Have you ever tried to bargain with God? Use God as a means to your own ends? I think if we’re honest with ourselves, we’ve all tried to God to do what we want. This Sunday we explore the life of Judas, whose motives and betrayal set into motion the events that led to Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection. There’s a little Judas in all of us.

My Own Worst Enemy

We've spent most of this year listening to Jesus describe His Kingdom and how we can live with Him as our King. But what if we refuse? This Easter, we'll look at four people in the Easter story who refuse to loosen their grip on their own goals, their own purposes, their own kingdoms. Hopefully, we'll learn from their mistakes. This week, we look at Caiaphas, the high priest.

How Does Jesus See Wealth?

What do eyes and lamps have to do with money? What in the world is “mammon?” This week, we unpack some of Jesus most difficult to understand teachings on wealth. I’m not going to sugarcoat it; these will be hard for us to accept.
