✴ 4 Personality Pathways to Try AI
Hi M(AI)VENS,
☕ Estimated reading time: ~6 minutes
Last week we kicked off a 2-part mini-series on personality + AI. In Part 1, we looked at the Myers–Briggs framework and I shared my own type (ENFJ 💜) as an example.
If you missed it, I recommend starting there so you can discover your own four-letter combo that represents your personality style.
First, a quick pulse check on this week’s AI news. Then we’ll dive into Part 2 of our mini-series.
📰 This Week in AI
🎙️ AI-Powered Podcast Boom
The AI startup, Inception Point AI, is flooding the podcast world with AI hosts and episodes [https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/digital/ai-podcast-start-up-plan-shows-1236361367/]. The company runs 5,000 shows, producing over 3,000 episodes a week at just $1 each, which makes it profitable with as few as 20 listeners. Its AI host roster includes foodie Claire Delish, gardener Nigel Thistledown, and quirky sports commentator Oly Bennet (none are real humans!). Since late 2023, the network has already reached 10 million downloads. Beyond podcasts, the team is testing AI personalities on social media and video, suggesting a future where influencers, not just podcasts, may be built by AI.
💰 AI and Copyright Shake-Up
Anthropic, the company behind Claude, agreed to [https://www.nytimes.com/2025/09/05/technology/anthropic-settlement-copyright-ai.html]a $1.5 billion settlement with 500,000 authors and publishers after a court ruled the company had used their books without permission to train its AI. Each author will receive about $3,000, marking the largest copyright payout in U.S. history. This case is expected to influence how other AI companies handle creative works, whether through licensing deals or additional settlements. For women in business, especially those creating original content, the decision highlights the growing recognition of intellectual property rights in the AI era.
From podcasts to publishing, AI is shaking up how stories are told and information is shared. And just like companies are finding their footing, we each have our own way of approaching AI. That’s where Part 2 of our mini-series comes in.
✨ The Four Temperaments
In Part 1, we talked about the 16 Myers–Briggs personality types. Each type is a four-letter combination, like ENFJ or ISTP, based on whether you lean toward extraversion or introversion, sensing or intuition, thinking or feeling, and judging or perceiving.
Now in Part 2, we’re taking those 16 types a step further. Sixteen types can feel like a lot to keep track of. That’s why psychologists and career coaches often group them into four broader “temperaments.” These clusters make it easier to see patterns without getting lost in the details.
Each temperament reflects a different way of thinking, working, and creating. Those differences can influence how you’ll find AI most useful.
Let’s get into the four temperament categories!
1. The Idealists (NF) 🌟
ENFJ, ENFP, INFJ, INFP
Strengths: Driven by vision, values, and meaning. Idealists want to inspire, imagine, and connect ideas to purpose.
AI Pathways for Idealists:
* Journaling prompts for self-reflection and growth.
* Storytelling with AI to bring values-based messages to life.
* Vision boards, mood boards, or big-picture brainstorming.
* Branding or mission statements that emphasize purpose.
Use case: If you’re rethinking your career or business direction, AI can help you clarify how your values shape the next step.
✨ Try this prompt: “Write a journal reflection to help me think about how my values should shape my next career move.”
2. The Rationals (NT) 🔎
ENTJ, ENTP, INTJ, INTP
Strengths: Analytical, strategic, and innovative. Rationals love solving problems and exploring possibilities.
AI Pathways for Rationals:
* Forecasting scenarios or stress-testing business strategies.
* Summarizing complex research to find patterns.
* Exploring startup concepts or product innovations.
* Creating comparison charts or weighing pros/cons.
Use case: If you’re mapping out strategy, AI can model different scenarios so you can stress-test your plans before committing.
✨ Try this prompt: “Outline three scenarios for how AI could transform my consulting businesses in the next five years.”
3. The Guardians (SJ) 📋
ESTJ, ESFJ, ISTJ, ISFJ
Strengths: Dependable, structured, and practical. Guardians focus on stability, systems, and making sure things run smoothly.
AI Pathways for Guardians:
* Automating repetitive tasks like emails or meeting notes.
* Creating project plans, timelines, or schedules.
* Writing step-by-step instructions or SOPs.
* Organizing personal tasks into efficient routines.
Use case: If you’re juggling family logistics, you might ask AI to merge three different school and sports calendars into one weekly plan.
✨ Try this prompt: “Combine these three family calendars into a single weekly schedule that avoids conflicts whenever possible and highlights priority events.”
4. The Artisans (SP) 🎨
ESTP, ESFP, ISTP, ISFP
Strengths: Flexible, energetic, and hands-on. Artisans thrive on adaptability and creativity in the moment.
AI Pathways for Artisans:
* Quick creative experiments with images or video.
* Brainstorming spontaneous content ideas.
* Designing scavenger hunts, playlists, or games.
* Using AI for real-time support (like travel tips or event planning).
Use case: If you’re leading a team session, AI can add playful, creative energy by generating ideas for interactive activities.
✨ Try this prompt: “Give me 5 playful ideas for making a team meeting more fun and engaging.”
🪞 Reflection: Where Do You See Yourself?
Each temperament highlights a different way of finding your AI “on-ramp.” None is better than another. They simply point to where you might feel most at home when starting out.
* Idealists may feel inspired by journaling, storytelling, and purpose-driven prompts.
* Rationals may light up when using AI for strategy, forecasting, and innovation.
* Guardians may find relief in organization, systems, and everyday efficiency.
* Artisans may thrive with spontaneous, creative, and playful uses.
Knowing this might help you experiment outside your comfort zone as well. An Idealist might discover joy in task automation. A Guardian might surprise themselves with AI art. A Rational might use AI for reflection, and an Artisan could experiment with structured planning.
📝 A Fun Assignment for the Week
* Which temperament do you identify with most?
* Try one of the sample prompts above and see how it feels.
* Share your reflections in the comments or reply back. I’d love to highlight a few examples in a future edition!
💡 The takeaway: AI is not one-size-fits-all. The most effective way to begin is by leaning into the style that already feels natural to you.
✨ Little Things I’m Loving
📖 A Marriage at Sea by Sophie Elmhirst
A true story of love, survival, and endurance. British journalist Sophie Elmhirst recounts how Maurice and Maralyn Bailey were shipwrecked in 1973 and drifted for 118 days on a tiny life raft with no communication tools. The real heart of the book is the dynamic between them. Maralyn’s resourcefulness and calm is juxtaposed with Maurice’s despair and pride. Oh, how their relationship was tested under extreme conditions! I couldn’t put it down last night and stayed up far later than I should have. Can’t wait to see how it ends. 🐋
💆♀️ L’Oreal Ever Pure Glossing Shampoo + Conditioner
I have long, thick, super wavy, sometimes frizzy hair and I’m always on the hunt for products to tame it. I started using this glossing shampoo and conditioner last month, and I’m loving it. My hair feels softer, shinier, and more manageable. Bonus: it’s super affordable and easy to find at most drugstores. (No affiliations, just sharing a great find!)
💜 Next week we’ll be back with fresh AI news and tips. In the meantime, I’d love to hear how your personality experiments with AI are going.
If you’re enjoying the M(AI)VENS newsletter for women, will you please share it with a girlfriend, a family member, or business colleague? I’d be super grateful! 💌 🦉
