She is currently serving as APTA Utah Public Relations Chair and Utah Pelvic Health Special Interest Group President. This is part 2 of our podcast series on transgender population and their medical journey with the transition from female to male. The information discussed includes WPATH requirements for surgery, medical procedures beginning with hysterectomy with Vaginectomy, Top Surgery, Metodioplasty, and Phalloplasty. With each of these procedures, we will provide information on expectations of pre and post-op medical and physical therapy appointments and specific PT interventions including education, scar tissue mobilization, stretching, lymph massage, and dilator training.
