Dr. Kim Glasgow is our guest on this episode of Mountain Land Physical Therapy's Pelvic Health Podcast. Dr. Kim attended Brigham Young University-Idaho in Rexburg, ID for undergrad and transferred to Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO to finish her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, then continued to receive her Doctor of Chiropractic in 2009 and her Master of Science in Sports Science and Rehabilitation in 2010. During this podcast we discuss the evaluation and treatment of the prenatal population within the field of chiropractic. Information provided will inform listeners on what common symptoms can be treated, what to expect with your visits and what type of chiropractic is best during pregnancy.

Katie Woolf is our guest for this episode of Mountain Land Physical Therapy’s Pelvic Health Podcast. She received her bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University-Hawaii in Exercise Sports Science with a minor in Mathematics followed by her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Eastern Washington University and completed her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification in 2020. She is currently serving as APTA Utah Public Relations Chair and Utah Pelvic Health Special Interest Group President. This is part 2 of our podcast series on transgender population and their medical journey with the transition from female to male. The information discussed includes WPATH requirements for surgery, medical procedures beginning with hysterectomy with Vaginectomy, Top Surgery, Metodioplasty, and Phalloplasty. With each of these procedures, we will provide information on expectations of pre and post-op medical and physical therapy appointments and specific PT interventions including education, scar tissue mobilization, stretching, lymph massage, and dilator training.
