38. Kate Kripke on Maternal Wellness and Reinventing Supermom
Kate Kripke is here to help us explore why maternal health and well-being is so important and how to step into feeling good on a daily basis. In her new book, Reinventing Supermom, Kate says that Supermom should mean that we as mothers are tending to our bio-psycho, social, spiritual needs first. Did you know that maternal and child mental health are intimately interconnected and that there is a co-regulation process that happens between mothers and children. That's right! Every single thing that we do to take care of ourselves so that we feel good, is an act of taking care of our kids. Which means that it is part of a mother's job to feel good.
