Acerca de Reimagine Communication Podcast

Reimagine Communication – a podcast for those who sense that something deeper is possible. This is a living exploration for those who are no longer satisfied with autopilot, fixed roles, or dominant norms. For those who feel that communication can be more than just exchanging words – that it can be a path toward inner freedom and outer transformation. We approach Nonviolent Communication not as a technique to master, but as a way of being – present, vulnerable, and powerful all at once.In a time when old systems are cracking and relationships are being tested, we ask questions rather than offer answers:How do we live truthfully in the midst of complexity? How do we listen to what longs – in ourselves, in others, in the world? How do we create space for what wants to be born beyond what we already know? This is for you who are done performing identities that no longer fit.Who want to help shape a new way of being human – in connection, in transition, in aliveness.Nothing here is final. Just a listening space where what aches is welcome, where new perspectives can emerge, and where what is already stirring in us might show the way forward.Welcome. Let’s begin. You find us at: www.friareliv.com and for Swedish speakers at www.friareliv.se

This episode explores why communication isn’t just about checking in with yourself and naming your feelings. We talk about embodiment, NVC, and what actually emerges in the space between people—where presence, responsibility, and relationship truly matter.   This is an unfolding dialogue between Liv Larsson and Kay Rung. For decades, they have explored Nonviolent Communication – not only as a way to navigate conflict, but as a doorway into something larger: what it means to be human, together.   If you want to learn more about Liv and Kays work, upcoming trainings, or dive deeper into Nonviolent Communication, you’ll find her at www.friareliv.com [http://www.friareliv.com/]. episode 15. When ‘Being Real’ Becomes a Trap, a Conversation About Authenticity artwork

15. When ‘Being Real’ Becomes a Trap, a Conversation About Authenticity

Kay and Liv discussed the evolution of authenticity through three chapters: initially as medicine to express one's true self, then as identity potentially creating problems, and finally as a fluid choice allowing differentiation in how and when to express different parts of oneself. They explored how focusing solely on the "strongest voice" can be limiting, and emphasized the importance of being aware of inner demands and judgments when communicating. The conversation highlighted that true authenticity involves integrating multiple aspects of oneself rather than being rigidly centered on a single voice or perspective.
