S1E12 - A Cemetery, A Deer, and Several Poor Decisions
The party thought they were about to face a towering blood-soaked monstrosity. Instead, they got yanked through time, dumped into a fog-choked forest, and immediately began debating whether they were dead. Which, to be fair, is becoming a recurring hobby at this point. Separated from their companions and stranded in a place that shouldn't exist, Quinn, Ryland, and Nib find themselves following ancient clues through a mysterious woodland where nothing is quite what it seems. Strange symbols, abandoned structures, impossible encounters, and more questions than answers lead the trio deeper into a forgotten corner of history. As usual, everyone handles this revelation with the calm professionalism you'd expect from adventurers who absolutely do not have their lives together. Along the way, old mysteries resurface, new ones emerge, and the party finally comes face-to-face with answers they've been chasing for a long time. Unfortunately, those answers raise even bigger questions. The kind of questions that make you wonder whether destiny, time itself, or a particularly cruel cosmic prankster is pulling the strings. Featuring cryptic prophecies, suspiciously talkative deer, an unsettling cemetery, and a most aggressive attempt at opening a door, Episode 12 peels back another layer of Vaelmyr's growing mysteries while reminding everyone that knowledge is power, and power usually comes wrapped in horrifying consequences. Somewhere, history is broken. And someone is trying very hard to make sure it stays that way.
