A coaching colossus who etched his name into immortality as the only college coach in history to win national championships in both football and baseball. At Hillsboro High, he won three state baseball titles and one state football championship. Then at Linfield University, the success continued—claiming the 1971 NAIA Baseball National Title and three NAIA Football National Championships (1982, 1984, 1986). 24 seasons as head football coach.
