Coach Stacy Collins is the Assistant Head Coach, Special Teams Coordinator, and Linebackers Coach for the Boise State Broncos. A veteran coach with 28 years of experience, Coach Collins has made stops at Penn State ( 2022â23), Utah State (2016â20), South Dakota School of Mines (Head Coach, 2012â15), Portland State (2011), Central Washington (2008â10), Southern Oregon (2007), Idaho State (2005â06), Western Washington (2003â04), and earlier roles at Western Oregon and in Austria with the Vienna Vikings. He first joined Boise State in 2021 as Special Teams Coordinator and EDGE coach before returning in 2024. Coach Collins played linebacker at Western Oregon, earning his B.S. (1998) and M.S. (2001) there. A native of Sutherlin, Oregon, he and his wife Mandi are the parents of four daughters. Renowned for elevating special teams units and developing defensive talent, he has contributed to conference titles, bowl games, and a College Football Playoff run.
