Descripción

In this episode of the PRESS Movement Podcast, we unpack Paul’s prayer in Colossians 1—a prayer focused on spiritual maturity, endurance, and truly knowing God. Paul doesn’t pray for comfort. He prays that believers would be filled with the knowledge of God’s will, spiritual wisdom, and understanding so they can walk worthy of the Lord. This episode explores the difference between knowing about God and actually knowing Him. Intellectual knowledge isn’t enough. Degrees, theology, and information cannot replace revelation through the Spirit of God. Real understanding comes when the Author explains His own words. Paul also prepares believers for reality: hardship will come. Longsuffering will come. Patience will be required. But the instruction is clear: Have joy anyway. Because your circumstances do not change what God has already done. You’ve already been delivered from darkness.  You’ve already been redeemed.  You’ve already been forgiven. This episode is a reminder to keep growing, keep fighting, and keep the main thing the main thing. And perhaps the most honest prayer of the episode: “Lord, keep me—even when I don’t feel like being kept.” #PRESSMovement #PrayerReachesEverySingleSituation #ChristianPodcast #Colossians1 #SpiritualGrowth #FaithInHardTimes #BiblicalPrayer #HolySpiritWisdom #KingdomLiving #PrayerLife Follow us on Facebook [https://www.facebook.com/presstopray] or Instagram [http://instagram.com/presstopray] or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com [https://www.press2pray.com/]!

A Prayer to Stand Fast

In this episode of the PRESS Movement Podcast, with guest host Will Irwin, we dive into 1 Thessalonians 3—a powerful reminder that standing strong in faith is rarely easy, but it is always worth it. Paul writes to believers who are facing pressure, persecution, and opposition simply because they chose to follow Christ. Instead of pretending hardship won’t come, Paul encourages them to stand fast, remain rooted, and remember they are not alone. One of the most moving themes in this episode is the importance of spiritual community. Paul sends Timothy to check on them because faith was never meant to be fought in isolation. This episode also delivers a powerful challenge for today’s generation: how do you stay settled in God when culture pulls in the opposite direction? The answer is found in relationship, conviction, and remembering what God has already done. One standout line from the episode says it all: “Why die for a penny when you’ve found something priceless?” If you’ve ever felt alone in your faith… pressured to compromise… or tired of standing out because you stand for Christ—this episode is for you. Stay encouraged.  Stay rooted.  Stand fast. Because love makes a difference.  Prayer makes a difference.  God hears when we call. #PressToPray #PrayerReachesEverySingleSituation #ChristianPodcast #StandFast #FaithUnderPressure #1Thessalonians #YouthForChrist #ChristianEncouragement #PrayerLife #FaithCommunity Follow us on Facebook [https://www.facebook.com/presstopray] or Instagram [http://instagram.com/presstopray] or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com [https://www.press2pray.com/]!

Love Tells The Truth

In this episode, we explore Paul’s powerful prayer in Philippians 1—a prayer that goes deeper than surface-level faith. Paul doesn’t just pray for love. He prays that love would abound with knowledge and judgment. Why? Because love alone, without truth and discernment, can lead us in the wrong direction. True, biblical love is not passive—it is intentional, informed, and aligned with God’s will. It requires understanding who God is and the ability to discern what pleases Him. This kind of love challenges us to grow, to correct, and sometimes to confront—not out of emotion, but out of truth. Even more powerful is the context: Paul writes this while in chains. Bound physically, yet still praying for others to grow spiritually. That’s real love. This episode also highlights what it means to live countercultural—especially in environments that don’t reflect God. Real love doesn’t stay silent. It speaks truth. It stands firm. It reflects Christ. 🔥 Love is more than a feeling  🔥 Love requires truth and discernment  🔥 Love pushes you to speak, not stay silent  #PressToPray #Philippians1 #BiblicalLove #FaithInAction #ChristianGrowth #Discernment #SpiritualMaturity #TruthInLove #KingdomLiving #PrayerWorks Follow us on Facebook [https://www.facebook.com/presstopray] or Instagram [http://instagram.com/presstopray] or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com [https://www.press2pray.com/]!

episode Ask Bigger artwork

Ask Bigger

In this episode, we dive into the powerful prayer of Ephesians 3—a prayer focused not on circumstances, but on strength, faith, and understanding who God truly is. Paul prays that believers would be strengthened in their inner man, rooted and grounded in love, and filled with the fullness of God. This isn’t surface-level faith—this is deep, unshakable connection. The episode highlights a key truth:  God doesn’t just meet needs—He exceeds expectations. “Exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think” isn’t just a phrase—it’s a reality when we understand that God already dwells within us. The power we’re asking for is already working in us. But the challenge is faith. Too often, we limit God by what we see, feel, or understand. We forget who He is. We forget what He’s done. And we shrink our prayers accordingly. This episode calls you higher: 👉 Strengthen your inner man  👉 Let God dwell fully in your heart  👉 Stop limiting what God can do Because when you truly believe… You stop asking small.  #PressToPray #Ephesians3 #FaithOverFear #GodCanDoAnything #PrayerWorks #ChristianGrowth #InnerStrength #HolyGhostPower #KingdomMindset #TrustGod Follow us on Facebook [https://www.facebook.com/presstopray] or Instagram [http://instagram.com/presstopray] or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com [https://www.press2pray.com/]!

Do you know the power you have?

This episode explores the powerful prayer found in Ephesians 1—a prayer not for more, but for revelation. Paul writes to the church at Ephesus, a city filled with spiritual resistance, false gods, and cultural opposition. Yet instead of praying for their circumstances to change, he prays that their understanding would change. He prays for wisdom.  He prays for revelation.  He prays that their eyes would be opened. Why? Because they already had what they needed—they just didn’t fully see it yet. Paul reminds them that they were chosen before the foundation of the world, filled with the Holy Ghost as a promise, and empowered by the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. The issue wasn’t access.  The issue was awareness. This episode challenges believers to stop asking God for more power and start asking Him to reveal the power already within them. 🔥 You are chosen.  🔥 You are sealed.  🔥 You are empowered. Now it’s time to see it.  #PRESSMovement #Ephesians1 #SpiritualRevelation #ChristianGrowth #FaithOverFear #KnowYourAuthority #PrayerLife #HolyGhostPower #BiblicalTruth #KingdomLiving Follow us on Facebook [https://www.facebook.com/presstopray] or Instagram [http://instagram.com/presstopray] or enjoy our blogs and even more episodes at www.presstopray.com [https://www.press2pray.com/]!
