We Are Woman
In this episode of We Are Woman, Bec sits down with Mishae Bailitis, a psychotherapist with a Master's in Gestalt Psychotherapy, trained in sensorimotor psychotherapy and the Gottman couples therapy method. Bec has had the privilege of witnessing Mishae's work firsthand, and what struck her is his rare ability to hold space for really deep, complex pain while also making room for lightness, humour, and humanity. That balance is something I think we all need more of. In our conversation, we discuss relational trauma, the body as conductor, why insight alone often isn't enough to create change, and what it really means to move through the world in connection with others.
