15. Willing to Be Uncomfortable

Larry shares his story of leadership and service over decades as a follower of Christ. Through years of military service and high-level positions in the business world, Larry made a point to live out his Christian values in every space he occupied. This often set him at odds with corporate culture and placed him in situations outside of his comfort zone. As Larry began serving with Mobile Loaves and Fishes, God called him and his wife, Wendy, to sell everything and move into a tiny home in Community First! Village, a ministry that provides housing for those coming out of homelessness. 14. Finding What Really Matters

Dan found his identity in baseball early on in life. Striving for success and the approval of others was of utmost importance. When his dreams of playing professional baseball failed and successes in business didn't take him far enough, Dan found himself considering suicide. As Dan moved from being a fan of Jesus to a true follower, his perspective on sports, success, and acceptance radically changed. He now knows he is fully accepted in Christ despite his successes or failures and encourages others to find their ultimate fulfillment in Christ as well.
