We are joined by Edie Hand, the founder of, the “Women of True Grit franchise” that encourages women to share their stories of how they navigated through hard things to find beautiful situations. Edie Hand is a businesswoman, international speaker and author, media personality, filmmaker, and Mom. She has authored and been a part of authoring over twenty-five books. Hand is also related to the King of Rock and Roll, the late Grate Elvis Pressley. We are joined by Rebecca Todd Minder, Director of the Award-winning Alabama Heritage Magazine. Celebrating its 40th anniversary next year,  Alabama Heritage has become the state’s premier historical publication. Featuring dozens of topics from anthropology to literature and so much more, the magazine has become an esteemed quarterly that serves not only the state, but also the southeastern region. The magazine provides rich educational resources to its readers and has been cited in various works as a reliable reference. Episode 6: George Staib and Sarah Hillmer of Staibdance Discuss Upcoming Tuscaloosa Show and Classes

We are joined by George Staib and Sarah Hilmer of staibdance, a contemporary dance company based in Atlanta, Georgia. Episode 5: Deborah Hughes, Featured Artist on Her Style and Artistic Beginnings

This episode features a conversation with Deborah Hughes, whose exhibit, "Being There: A Decade of Plein Aire Painting," is currently on display at the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center.
