Hi there loyal listener. Here's a little something to tide you over while we work on our finale. We have some beef with this list and we gave it the business. Big time. 2: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of TIme

It's a Thanksgiving Eve miracle.  It's The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.  There's literally nothing to be said about this game that's not already been said, but we somehow recorded a full podcast about it. Probably by not saying really anything at all.  Things are wrapping up for the ol' podcast, but we have some extra...extras on the tail end.  As we near Thanksgiving we here at 100 Games and a Funeral want to say thank you to everyone who has tuned in and specifically to Koji Kondo. He didn't tune in, but he's a literal genius matched by few. It's neat to share the same planet.   @100gamesandafuneral on socials

Jerry "Well, as I was saying, I would play myself as a Japanese teenager living in Japan, and I'd have a bunch of neighbors and my dad gets punched to death and an old grandma...which is all true" George "yea, but nothing happens in the game. You see, it...it's just like life...ya know you eat, ya go shopping, you read, you eat, you read, you go shopping" Executive #1 "You read? You read in the game?" Jerry "well, I don't know about the reading...we didn't discuss the reading." Executive #1 "Alright, tell me...tell me about the story" George "No story" Executive #1 "No story? So...what is it?" George "What did you do today?" Executive #1 "I got up and came to work" George "THERE'S a game, that's a game!" Executive #1 "How's that a game?" Jerry "Well...uh...maybe something happens to you on the way to work" George "No NO NO! Nothing happens!" Jerry "Well....something happens!" Executive #1 "Well, why am I playing it?" George "Because it's on Dreamcast!" Executive #1 "Not yet" George "Ok...uh...look, if you want to just keep doing the same old thing...then maybe this idea is not for you. I for one am NOT going to compromise my artistic integrity. And I'll tell you something else...this is the game, and we're NOT gonna change it" It's Shenmue (1).
