Meet Joaquín Vázquez, born and raised in San Diego. Joaquín has overcome family separation, homelessness, and a move to Mexico due to his father's deportation. Joaquin returned to the US, helped raise his siblings, and worked hard to graduate college. He is a community organizer, served in the Obama administration, and is now running for congress.

Yusef is a Social Justice Activist throughout all of San Diego Counties, against Islamophobia, Anti-Semitism, Racial Injustice, Avid Border Community Supporter, and Anti-Police Brutality to name a few. Founder of Mosques Against Trafficking(M.A.T) and Pink Crescent(Breast Cancer Awareness).
