Mary Willard - "Lady Sherlock" of Forensic Science in 1930

Mary was an assistant professor of chemistry at Penn State University in 1930 when she was first asked to assist with a criminal case.  By training and curiosity she became an expert in chemical analysis of evidence from crime scenes. Frances Glessner Lee - The Mother of Forensic Science
