Born in L.A. and raised between Paris and L.A., Cyril Wohrer (aka, Chandra) has a B.A in Religious Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Masters in the Study of Religion from Oxford University. He is an ordained minister, since 1997, in Krishna West, an order of the International Society for Krishna consciousness. In the Bible Bhakti podcast, Cyril speaks on famous passages from the Bible from the point of view of the Krishna Bhakti (Bhakti-yoga, or polymorphic bi-monotheistic) tradition of India, comparing these renowned Bible verses to famous equivalent verses from the Vedic literatures (such as from the Bhagavad-Gita, known as the "Bible of India."). By listening to the Bible Bhakti podcast, Christians can enter with ease into the mysteries of the Bhakti tradition, and those who practice Bhakti yoga can similarly see the commonalities that their tradition shares with Christianity.
