Memorial Day special: 92 year old U.S. Marine Corps Colonel Elaine Davies. Davies was one of less than forty TOTAL women to deploy to Vietnam with the Marine Corps. Davies spent over 29 years in the Corps, originally joining in 1959. The fact that less than 40 women in the Marines ever deployed to Vietnam is extraordinary, the fact the we were able to interview one of them? An absolute privilege.
