Do It Afraid

What if doing it afraid isn’t about pushing harder—but honoring where you are? What does it really mean to do it afraid? In this episode, I’m sharing a quieter, more honest version of what that looks like in this season of my life. Not pressure. Not performance. Just choosing to move forward—even when I don’t feel fully ready. I reflect on a full-circle moment that stayed with me—from following an actress for years, to finally meeting her, to later wearing a sweatshirt from her clothing line that simply reads: Do It Afraid. I didn’t know how much I would need those words. Because doing it afraid hasn’t looked bold or loud for me. It’s looked like rewriting what I thought was already finished… honoring my current capacity… and creating without turning it into stress or expectation. The Season I Went Quiet

After months of silence, TracyMac returns, not with explanation, but with revelation. In this deeply personal episode, she shares why she chose quiet, not from burnout, not from illness, but from discernment. Wrestling with calling, seminary, inherited religious traditions, and the pressure to perform certainty while still evolving, TracyMac opens up about what it means to become still on purpose. The White Coat Testimony

✨ The Testimony of the White Coat ✨ In 2003, I was in Okinawa with a toddler, a heavy diagnosis, and a deployed husband. Through books, play, laughter, and music, my daughter created her own language, always reaching for a toy lab coat instead of a princess dress. This weekend, that same little girl will don her real one at her White Coat Ceremony, halfway to becoming a Doctor. From TracyMac's infertility and a miscarriage to her daughter's diagnoses, dyslexia, and doubters, faith, grace, and hard work have carried her every step.
