Introducing my cohort Patti ... After many technical challenges and not enough preparation Patti and I sit down to talk Podcast, politics, gender roles, kids, books and whatever else was in the kitchen sink. We are a hot Mess but we will get better! Keep an eye out next week for an accidental "bonus" episode -a peek behind the curtain as I talk to one of my kids about the content of this episode and the tangents that takes us on.

Hubbie found the original recording of the poem for me. I think the performance reading is better in this than in my newer reading. Putting this here in case anyone is curious.

This was meant to be a conversation with one of my besties, but technical difficulties reigned the day so instead you just get me blathering. An introduction, an explanation and me coming out. Sorry about the audio quality... soundproofing and a mic are in my purchasing future. If you know me, fair warning that this may be TMI. I am not sharing anything I don't want you to know, or even that I think will shock you ... But this first episode is personal and so listen at your own discretion. (I promise that future episodes are likely to be more family friendly, though I make no guarantees and I am certain to swear.). Don't say I didn't warn you!
