episode 003- Educator, Skier, Sea Kayaker- Paul Twardock cover

003- Educator, Skier, Sea Kayaker- Paul Twardock

Paul Twardock has led an impressive career, spanning several decades researching, recording, educating, and sharing of his passions. The man is a wealth of knowledge on a seemingly endless list of subjects ranging from sea kayaking, to birds, to skiing, and so much more. I met him as an instructor during my time at Alaska Pacific University, and recorded this episode just before my final course, led by Paul. We got to spend a few weeks in the Prince William Sound, and his passion for the area is contagious. I am forever grateful to have gotten to spend the time I did with him while in Alaska. He was a formative figure while there, and left me inspired and motivated to implement positive changes in my own life. As I mentioned at the end of the episode, some of those changes are coming in the form of a monthly challenge. Click the link below to learn more about this month's challenge, incentives for participating, and an opportunity to be featured on the next podcast episode! www.coldwaterstoked.com/read/monthly-challenge-1-no-meat Cold water stoked is a place for those of us who call ice-cream headaches, inclement weather, and numb fingers a good time. episode 002- Farmer, Veteran, Spear-fisherman- Tyler Boggs cover

002- Farmer, Veteran, Spear-fisherman- Tyler Boggs

Tyler Boggs is so many things; farmer, father, husband, diver, spearfisherman, veteran, mentor, teacher, the list goes on and on. But to me, I recognize him as someone I can turn to for support and who has helped guide me through rough patches in my own life. What started as a cold call seeking a volunteer opportunity for school credit, has evolved into a cherished friendship, and (fingers crossed) a dive partner in the near future. His relationship and experience with the ocean differ greatly from my own, and I enjoyed seeing the ocean through his eyes. I am constantly learning when I am around him. Whether about mushroom cultivation, marine biology, or just life lessons, I always come away buzzing with ideas. I hope you do as well, and I hope you enjoy this conversation with Tyler. episode 001- Runner, Surfer, Medical Professional- Josh Perch cover

001- Runner, Surfer, Medical Professional- Josh Perch

To kick this podcast off, I am excited to start it close to home with one of my oldest friends, Josh Perch. He is someone I continue to look up to, someone who drives me to be better every day, and is continually pushing himself well beyond his comfort zone. Whether he is surfing, running, or getting into medical school, he is always challenging himself. I have learned a lot from him over the years, and I am excited to share his experience here.   Cold water stoked is a place for those of us who call ice-cream headaches, inclement weather, and numb fingers a good time. Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
