Jen Dawson is an emergency room physician in San Francisco who prides herself on an orderly and driven life. Tommy Vietti is an experienced detective who solves homicides quicker than any other cop. Amanda Hawthorne is a powerful, young District Attorney who is defined by loyalty and an unshakeable sense of justice. Their lives change forever when Jen's colleague, Dr. Lane Wallace, becomes a murder suspect in the death of his paramour, an ultrasound technologist. Ms Wade is a prolific writer. Three Times as Deadly was the three times as thrilling. The story was fast paced and the main character reminded me of a female version of Indiana Jones and MacGyver all rolled into one. The ending will surprise you. Susan Marlow did an excellent job narrating. I hope to see these two main characters again. im in love with this story the narrative did an amazing job at changing accents and giving character their own voices

episode Romancing the Werewolf Audiobook by Gail Carriger cover

Romancing the Werewolf Audiobook by Gail Carriger

Please visit https://thebookvoice.com/podcasts/audiobook/72/ [https://thebookvoice.com/podcasts/audiobook/72/] to download full audiobooks of your choice for free. Title: Romancing the Werewolf Subtitle: A Supernatural Society Novella: The Supernatural Society, Volume 2 Author: Gail Carriger Narrator: Peter Newman Format: Unabridged Length: 4 hrs and 19 mins Language: English Release date: 12-26-17 Publisher: Gail Carriger LLC Ratings: 4.5 of 5 out of 23 votes Genres: Fiction, Gay & Lesbian Publisher's Summary: Gay werewolves in Victorian London? Why yes, yes there are. Biffy, newly minted Alpha of the London Pack, is not having a good Christmas. His Beta abandoned him, his werewolves object to his curtain choices, and someone keeps leaving babies on his doorstep. Professor Randolph Lyall returns home to London after 20 years abroad, afraid of what he might find. With his pack in chaos and his Alpha in crisis, it will take all his Beta efficiency to set everything to rights. Perhaps, in the process, he may even determine how to mend his own heart. New York Times best-selling author Gail Carriger presents a charming love story set in her popular steampunk Parasolverse. Featuring the long-awaited reunion between everyone's favorite quietly capable Beta and the werewolf Alpha dandy who let him slip away. This sweet romance is full of unexpected babysitting, holiday decorations, and no small amount of pining. Look for surprise appearances from popular side characters and the occasional strategic application of italics. The Supernatural Society novellas stand alone and may be read in any order. But if you're a stickler, this story chronologically follows Imprudence, and ties specifically to events in Timeless. Delicate Sensibilities? Contains men who love other men and have waited decades to do so. Members Reviews: Would love to read more of Biffy's pack. I thoroughly enjoyed finally seeing these two find happiness. Now if only we could get the rest of the pack in hand! Interesting, but not an overly compelling story. There was a lot of internal monologue, and the story did not have much purpose outside the thoughts of a few characters. Ties up a side storyline nicely This novella addresses what happens to a couple of beloved minor characters from Gails primary Supernatural Society storylines in a short, but sweet escape. Peter Newman did a decent job of transporting us into the minds of this British pack. Satisfaction! 5 stars! I am already very much in love with this story! This narrator was engaging and spot on! I will be revisiting this audio book often! A fun gossippy novella that scratched an itch If you could sum up Romancing the Werewolf in three words, what would they be? The return and touching update to two delightfully queer characters, in a fun little novella. The reader is quite amazing and his voice pleasant.

Coach's Challenge Audiobook by Avon Gale

Title: Coach's Challenge Subtitle: Scoring Chances Author: Avon Gale Narrator: Scott R. Smith Format: Unabridged Length: 6 hrs and 50 mins Language: English Release date: 12-26-17 Publisher: Dreamspinner Press LLC Ratings: 4.5 of 5 out of 19 votes Genres: Fiction, Gay & Lesbian Publisher's Summary: A Scoring Chances Novel Its been decades since blackmail forced Troy Callahan to retire from playing professional hockey, and hes built a successful career behind the bench. When hes offered the opportunity to coach the Asheville Ravensthe most hated team in the ECHLhes convinced that his no-nonsense attitude is just what the team needs to put their focus back on hockey. But Troy is disheartened when he finds that the Ravens have signed Shane North, a player known for his aggression. And it only gets worse when Shanes rough good looks give Troy inappropriate thoughts about a member of his team, even if Shanes set to retire at the end of the season. Shanes career in the majors never quite took off. Wanting to quit on his own terms, Shane agrees to a one-year contract with the Ravens and finds himself playing for a coach who thinks hes an aging goon and with a team that doesnt trust him, the coach, or each other. Despite his determination to not get involved, Shane unwillingly becomes part of the team and is just as unwillingly drawn to the gruff out-and-proud coach. As the Ravens struggle to build a new identity, Shane and Troy succumb to the passion that might cost them everything. Members Reviews: #TeamTRANE Once again Scott R. Smith does a good job with the narration. This whole series has simply been a pleasure to listen to. If you're into dirty talk with your sexy times be prepared to be happy! While I can't say the fifth story in the Scoring Chances hockey series is my favorite, it's a fun read and a solid addition to the series with plenty of humor, very little angst, some great dirty talk, and a good HFN ending. I'm definitely on board with team #TRANE. love it love it and great narrator Avon Gale again hit it out of the ballpark I highly recommend this book. the story was awesome. Another good one in the series! I've LOVED the entire Scoring Chances series, and Coach's Challenge was no different! Hot, sarcastic, bossy, mature MEN (not boys!) who took their relationship from flirting to sexual to more, and a great audiobook narration to boot. I've had a bad streak with Avon Gale's work recently, so I was actually nervous about starting Coach's Challenge. However, it didn't let me down at all, and I was thrilled that the audio reading was as good as I had remembered. I didn't want to stop listening, which is the best feeling, let me tell you. Okay, if I'm being honest, this isn't the most romantic of the series. There isn't a lot of affection and lovey-dovey feelings. However, I really liked the easy, comfortable relationship between the two MCs. Their interactions were... fun. Easy. Other than a little twist thrown in at the end, it's a low drama book with the focus on the characters themselves, which is how I like it. Scott R. Smith again did a great job with the narration. I can always tell his voices apart, and though his peppy, high energy narration and pauses take a little getting used to, I adore him narrating this series. If you've enjoyed the other books in the Scoring Chances series, this one will be a no-brainer. It's snarky banter and sex in semi-public places and two men that know who they are and what they want. It's a good one. *Copy provided in exchange for an honest review* Another great story I loved this. A very different story again.
