Dr. Josh Lauer is an associate professor of media studies at the University of New Hampshire and current Kluge Fellow in Digital Studies at the Library of Congress. He is the author of Creditworthy: A History of Consumer Surveillance and Financial Identity in America (2017) and co-editor of Surveillance Capitalism in America (2021).
