Effects of pornography. (ex. does not show healthy relationship) 3. What to do if I see pornography. (ex. call it what it is and talk to parents) 4. What real love looks and feels like. episode When and How to Share Your Story (plus Take Care of Your Speaker) cover

When and How to Share Your Story (plus Take Care of Your Speaker)

Sharing your story - How and when to share your story. Reach out to Tiffani to ask questions. Info@gloryb.org Educate yourself through the Elevate Academy, Rebecca Bender’s School for Survivors. https://elevate-academy.org/ => Share with caution. Once it’s out there you can’t take it back. Be discerning of who you share your story with. Social media, people with phones can record or take pictures. => Test the waters. Don’t share the whole truth all up front. Trust should be built not given. What are they going to do with the information you share? => What are they telling you about other people? => It takes a lot out of you. Re-traumitizes you, can traumatize the audience. Give a trigger warning to the audience. => Make sure you are healed enough. => Have a support system that will check on you that you can be authentic with. => Self care after sharing your story. Not drugs or alcohol. Something recreational like crafting or a spa day => Is this an appropriate audience? Is it self-serving, relational, transactional. Are they furthering the cause or just wanting to hear a story? => Ethical storytelling. Fair transaction, price in cash not gift cards. Be courteous. Treat survivors just as you would like to be treated if you had shared some hard thing. Have your cost in mind before going in, don’t let people tell you what your story is worth. => Protect the survivor. There is more wisdom and expertise that can come from a survivor than only sharing horrific stories of the trauma they’ve experienced. Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
