Take a group picture you either avoid the photo as a whole or you tell people to delete the photo Did you ever think that…you should be thanking your friends for taking that photo? That you should actually see the way your looking now as opposed to what you used to look like It’s a wake up call!!! Meaning it’s time for you to make some changes in your body You should not be embarrassed with the way you look at photos… You should be proud of the man your seeing every day looking in the mirror not the other way around So here’s 3 action steps to take to improve what you see in the mirror 1. Eat in a calorie deficit, to help drop the body fat 2. Start weight training 3-5 x a week 3. Walk at least 8k-10k steps a day to start burning more calories throughout the day After 90 days of this you’ll start noticing differences in your face , and the way you look in pictures
I woke up the morning of my senior year wrestling tournament “This is my day” I fixed my shot for takedowns, had come off a few rough matches from the last few days My first match comes Boom off the whistle…I’m on bottom and I get my stand up 1 point me We go again from bottom he’s trying to keep me down and he gets a hold of my ankle completely and as he’s trying to turn me I feel an irregular crack of my ankle and suddenly I’m on my stomach and my ankle is 180 degrees of the direction it was Coaches come, ambulance comes to get me The doctor turns my ankle manually back into place And I’m rushed into surgery, a metal rod, several pins later my fibula is replaced Now I’m looking at a messed up ankle and all I’m thinking in my mind is “there’s no way this is it for me” “Not training, not being able to play sports, not being able to push myself physically to the max….isn’t an option for me” This isn’t what’s gonna make or break me I was looking at a mountain of recovery to climb but in my mind I was already back to walking, I was already back to squatting, I was already back on my mission PT 3 times a week, so painful everyday but…I knew this wasn’t it God made it very clear that this was a temporary set back in that moment to make me stronger for a bigger than ever comeback 6 months later I was back under a squat rack, 8 months later I squatted 315 for the first time, deadlifted 405, because my HUNGER to get back in that waiting period of recovery was higher than ever I went to play rugby on that ankle for 3 seasons, ran a half Ironman, did 4 bodybuilding shows Man I’m telling you your story is not over, I’m telling you there is no way your finished I’m telling you God has so much more in store for your life than this situation you’re in right now Good times are coming, and it’s hard to see that on the otherside of the hard times but your injury, your set back, your sickness, your break up, is setting you up for to become the man the lord NEEDS you to step into Trust him in everything you do and I promise you’ll come out on top he’s got your back ❤️🙏
