S4E4 - Old VS. New Worship

In this episode we explore the major differences - and surprising similarities - between the ways of worship in the Old Testament and the ways we worship in 2026. This month, we’re grateful to welcome Tina Wright as she shares a heartfelt message on what it truly means to worship in the everyday moments. Drawing from Romans 12:1, Tina invites us to see worship not as something reserved for Sunday mornings, but as a posture we carry into the smallest, simplest parts of our daily lives. She offers practical, encouraging ways to let our routines—our work, our conversations, our quiet moments—become expressions of praise. It’s a beautiful reminder that God meets us not only in the big, memorable experiences, but also in the unnoticed rhythms of everyday life. Tina is a beloved member of our Grace Chapel family. She and her husband faithfully serve in our Discover Grace classes, walking alongside those who want to learn more about our church and staff. She’s also a proud mom of three and grandmother of seven, and when she’s not serving others, she and her husband enjoy spending time with their Highland cows. This episode will leave you encouraged, grounded, and inspired to see your day through the lens of worship.

S4E3 - Back to the Heart of Worship

In this episode, we explore worship as more than a reaction—it’s a reflection. Before sin fractured the world, Adam and Eve lived in uninterrupted communion with God, responding naturally to His presence. Today, we navigate a very different reality. Distractions are constant, sin pulls at our attention, and worship often requires intentional choice rather than effortless overflow. Join us as we unpack what it means to worship in a culture that pushes us toward self instead of surrender, and how it is easier to reflect the world around us than a holy God. We talk about why true worship is counter‑cultural, how we unintentionally get in each other's way, and how we can reorient our hearts toward God in the middle of everyday life. LIVE! Christmas at the Gathering 2025

This Gathering we had the privilege of hearing Libbie Murr teach about what true worship is. We were reminded that worship isn’t just what we do when we sing - it’s the way we live every day. We learn from Saul's example in 1 Samuel 15:22 that true worship doesn't come from rituals and practices, but begins with a heart that says yes to God. Libbie also used John 14:15 to show us that love and obedience go hand-in-hand. We simply cannot say we love the Lord and then ignore His voice. Choosing God’s will above our own is one of the purest expressions of worship. And in Philippians 2:5-8, we see Jesus as the perfect example of worship through obedience. Worship reaches its highest form when it costs us something. It also is worship when our obedience comes from commitment, not convenience. Jesus left glory, took on human flesh, and endured pain and rejection all out of obedience to the Father. Hallelujah!

S4E2 - Worship in Vulnerability & Community, with Nicole Cannaday

Nicole Cannaday joins us to continue the conversation on worship following her message at the September Gathering (go check out the LIVE! if you haven't already)! We got that chance to sit down and talk about vulnerability in community as a form of worship. Drawing from personal examples and those of Moses and the "man with the withered hand," we look at examples of people honoring God by both reaching out to help and for help. In both sin and storm, we see Christian community & worship help restore us to God.
