Ep. 6: Conclusion: Goodbye for now.

This is the final episode of the Growing up with ADHD podcast. I have really enjoyed creating this for you all as part of my master's project. In this episode we go over what we have learned. I had a lot of fun putting this series together for you all, and I hope you learned something through it just as I did. If there is one thing you pick up from this episode, I hope it is to just be supportive of those with ADHD, and just give them a chance. No one deserves to live a life of being surrounded by stigma, and people with ADHD certainly deserve better as well. Thanks for listening in. If you made it through this whole series, snaps to you! Ep. 5: Adults: College, Challenges, and Changes

In this episode we debunk the common myth that ADHD is a "childhood" disorder. Through this episode you will get a look into what ADHD specifically looks like in college students, and learn that this myth is not as true as people believe it to be. Listen in as we discuss this population that many people do not necessarily realize when it comes to ADHD.

Ep. 4: Teenagers: Peers, Parents, and Problems

Adolescence can be a tough time for anyone who has to go through it. There is challenges and pressure with peers, parents, school, and finding one's identity. In this episode, we talk all things teenagers and ADHD. Bring what you need, because it's a long one. There is so much to say about teens and the adversities they face because of their ADHD. It can be a lot, and it certainly does not make these already difficult years any easier. If you are a teenager or have a teenager yourself, this is the episode for you. Listen in and learn about what ADHD is like in teens; think about what you can do to support them. We will dive right in and there is so much to learn.

Ep.3: School Children: Struggles, Students, and Studies

School is something that can be really tough for children with ADHD. In this episode we go through how children struggle this commonality that all kids face. We go through what school can look like, as well as other struggles this population goes through.

Ep.2: Toddlers: Biology, Bedtime, and Beginning

Toddlerhood is one of the first stages of life. It may seem like a young age to see ADHD in a child, but there are still signs that can be noticed. In this episode we talk about all things toddlers and ADHD. Come along as we discuss sleep and symptoms as potential signs. This is going to be a fun one as we talk about these curious, fun, adorable little ones who may develop the condition in the future.
