She then attended medical school at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center (TTHUSC) in Lubbock, Texas focusing on obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN). During her residency, Henderson was recognized as an “Outstanding Gynecological Surgeon” and served as the Administrative OBGYN Chief during her last year of residency.
